hm,
i've tried the second one in the wiki, but it doesn't seem to work.
when i run "kdesu -t -c "pacman -Sy"" i still have to enter my root not user password.
any ideas?

kdesu is only for graphical (GUI) programs. CLI apps like pacman can be run with sudo or as root. e.g.
sudo pacman -Syu
su
<enter root password>
pacman -Syu

yes i know.
but i want to use pacman in a non-interactive console. that means i want to ask a user for his passwd through kdesudo
and then show the pacman output in a console.
