I don't see something like "Play audio CD" in Audacious...
$ audacious /dev/cdrom
...
Unable to read from file:////dev/cdrom, giving up.
Information on official site tells that it can play it.
Menu "Add" contents only 2 items:
- Add internet address
- Add files
Packages version:
audacious-player 1.4.0-1
audacious-plugins 1.4.0-2
Something strange... Anybody knows WTF?
P.S. Xine (xine-ui) successfully plays Audio CDs!

still doesn't work :-/

Hm... I might need to rebuild it then. If you want to try rebuilding audacious-plugins yourself and see if it helps, that would be cool, but I'll see what's going on tonight.

Yes, missed dependence, libcdio.
makepkg shows this before compilation
Configuration:
Input Plugins
-------------
CD Digital Audio (cdaudio_ng): no
I install libcdio, then do makepkg -f.
Configuration:
Input Plugins
-------------
CD Digital Audio (cdaudio_ng): yes
Now i can play Audio CD via Main menu (right click) > Plugin Services > Add CD.
I think that this is not logically to play Audio CD's by this way... Is it possible to move this functionality to Add menu (in playlist)?

I won't be making an upstream change to Audacious like that - if you want that option moved to a 'smarter' place, make a report on Audacious' site.
I'll get audacious-plugins properly rebuilt in the repos tonight.

Ok, thanks
