Just install Arch, but I do not have login name

Hi, I am new to the linux.

I just install Arch on my laptop, but when I reboot I have been ask to enter myhost name and password. I know for sure that I did not entered any login name or passwrd during the installation process. It is obvious that I missed something during the installation. If some one can tell me what is the default myhost name and password, or where in the installation process I need to enter it? I will appreciate your help.

Hmmm... didn't you enter a password for the root (the admin)?

The default user in any Unix is "root". For the password, just hit Enter; you can set it later with 'passwd'.
And read http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beginners_Guide

Your root password can be...nothing? (never tried)
