MPlayer can't open files those have spaces in their filenames

This is something I'm not used to but I'm having this problem for almost 2 weeks. It's happening in my GNOME desktop and in order to open a file I drag & drop a file to the consol to a parameter to mplayer or gmplayer.. The file then opens successfully.. But when I click twice on the file, it shows every space as %20 and complains about the file that it can't be found.

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.
