fn-f4 insn't working no more

Hi,
that's a quite strange problem: since some days ago, I was able to plug a vga cable in my vga-out on my laptop, and then to switch the view from my laptop lcd to other monitors, or (very important for me) to a projector, in a very similar manner as I can do in windows. Right now, after one of the last upgrades, I'm no more able to do that: fn-f4 does nothing!
I don't see any recent xorg updates in my pacman logs.

Do you have some ideas on how to restore that beautiful functionality?

I have an Intel945GM and running an i810 driver

Re: fn-f4 insn't working no more

same here, i'm running i810 driver on my hp notebook and since last update the combination fn+f4 doesn't work (fn+f9/f10 for backlight works fine).

after plugging in the vga cable dmesg shows system noticed that connection but i can't change output to both screens (lcd and projector).

i've read some topics about this problem on thinkpad, but it's probably different problem, but i've found a temporarly solution. i can turn vga output on while loading bios when starting my computer, just before lilo starts...
