skype: error while loading shared libraries: libpcre.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
^ rebuilt/installed the PKGBUILD for lib32-zlib, now getting this new error above.
( Also, in that java plugin thread you pointed me towards, I also tried the PKGBUILD for pcre and it borked everything from gqview to grep, so I restored my whole disk image from a backup... )

I had the same issue, but updating bin32-skype and lib32-qt4 from AUR fixed it.

Is it possible to create native 64bit package of Skype?
On skype download page exist ubuntu64bit package ( http://www.skype.com/intl/en/download/s … ux/choose/ )
Maybe this package can be used to create package for Arch(x64)?

It's not possible and the ubuntu package is 32bit but packaged in a way that will install in a 64bit system and pull the 32bit deps, much like what the versions on AUR do.
These is no 64bit skype binary anywhere that I know of.
Edit:
Oh and this thread is older than dirt, only now I realize that, please leave the dead alone.
