EasyTag Work With ID3v1 ?

Hey There,

I've a really annoying problem. I have an iPod Video and about 5.5G mp3 files. With iTunes, I have no problems in my library (both in iTunes and in iPod). But if I transfer all tracks with gtkPod the names of the songs are somehow different. So I guess that I do all changes in the ID3v2 tags, not in v1.. EasyTag has the option to override v1 tags but it doesn't seem to work for me..

Another problem is that when I was using Windows Vista, Media Player got the album coverart and embedded them into the MP3's... And most of them were embedded wrong coverarts until I realized it. I can't see the coverart through EasyTag but I can see them in Rhythmbox and in my iPod..

Any suggestions ?

I'm probably not being a big help here, but what I always did was strip id3v1 tags and tag everything in id3v2 so problems like that don't show up.
