Untill a few days ago Kino worked perfectly.
Now it crashes when I start it up.
I get a dialog telling me:
The Application "kino" has quit unexpectedly.
There are no errors in the cli. Just:
>>> Audio Transition: Cross Fade
>>> Audio Transition: Dub
>>> Audio Transition: Mix
> Creating Magick Page
>> Searching /usr/lib/kino-gtk2 for plugins
It started very suddenly. I was running Kino, quit it, and then
just a few minutes later it wouldn't start.
I have tried uninstalling all plugins. And I have tried installing the Slackware package,
with exactly the same result. So it should be something with the libraries I guess.
And I have also been unable to recompile Kino.
Does anyone have a clue?

I reinstalled Arch.
Now it works fine.
I have no idea why it stopped working.

heh, I also rebuild my house everytime a bulb burns.
And where were all the sportsmen who always pulled you though?
They're all resting down in Cornwall
writing up their memoirs for a paper-back edition
of the Boy Scout Manual.

Well, I must admit, that when I clean a room, I take everything out first, then wash it, and only put back the things that I want to have there.
I usually don't wipe Arch to fix small problems. I used to do that in another OS, and also with redhat and mandrake, just because I couldn't decide which of them I wanted to use. Then I found Arch, and all that stopped.
Untill yesterday. I really had to have Kino working yeseterday. I had used days trying to make it work. So I asked in the Forum and on IRC. No replies. So I thought it only takes a couple of hours.
What I mean is, If changing the bulb had taken me two years, I would have rebuilt my house instead
