you need it too caus your water colling system?
to get temperatures in the gnome panel you can use comutertemp since the problem is fixed but it is not realy an alternative to sensors-applet...
you can downgrade lm_sensors too (i dont know how) http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?d … s=0&SeB=nd

Gkrellm has a problem with the new lm_sensors package too:
There is a patch for Gkrellm, and for some other applications, on the lmsensors site. It works for me.

for ksensors, as root
cd /usr/lib
ln -s libsensors.so.3 libsensors.so
e2a New ksensors pkg just appeared I see, so when my repo syncs I guess it should be fixed

downgrading lm_sensors fixes it for me. After that I put IgnorerPkg = lm_sensors in /etc/pacman.conf. The patch file is too difficult to apply, as you do not give any instruction how to do it.

Thanks! This just solved my problem with ksysguard, complaining about not being able to connect to localhost ^^
