how to extract a file another way that not in shell?

In Ubuntu, when I right click on a compacted file a menu shows me "extract here", but in Arch haven't this option, then the only way to extract it, is in shell.

I have to install any package ??

what desktop enviroment are u using?

in gnome its file-roller that u need to install
in xfce its sqeeze that u need to install.

I use gnome and installed file-roller, but dont shows me in menu right click "extract here". I need reboot?

I don't think rebooting would be required, but you might need to logout of gnome and login again.
