Random reboot

I've just set up my new computer and it randomly reboots. I'm running KDE on a asus duo core with 2g of memory.

Re: Random reboot

Usual things to check: overheating, then run memtest overnight (i.e. for several hours - just 1 hour is nowhere near enough for a decent test).

Re: Random reboot

intermittent problems are more then likely hardware related.

I will double the power supply issue, if thats a new computer minus a new case and PSU then thats where I would start as well.
