gdm/gnome: how to start script?

I need to start a script while gnome is loading.
It doesn't start from "System->Pref->Session"
It doesn't start neither from ~/.xinitrc (because gdm ignores it) nor ~/.xsession (because arg of /etc/gdm/Xsession is /usr/bin/gnome-session)

So how to do that? Thx in advance!

Re: gdm/gnome: how to start script?

Why does it need to be loaded specificaly when gnome is loading?
Couldn't you just add it to the daemon array, or so, to start in the background?

I need to change nvidia settings and run conky.

Re: gdm/gnome: how to start script?

Why wouldn't conky run from "sessions"?
What nvidia setting do you have to set?

Because it doesn't start form 'sessions' neither explicitly nor via bashscript

Re: gdm/gnome: how to start script?

Ok, that must something temporary then, because i always start .conky from "sessions".
You could try your .bashrc or some script in /etc/gdm/PreSession/
