Printer Drivers Missing?

Hey,

I'm pretty new to archlinux, I installed it and had it running pretty good a month or so ago and then my laptop broke so I'm reinstalling.  I'm trying to get my network printer working.  I've got an EPSON stylus CX3810 that is connected to a Windows host.  When I go to add the printer using the gnome printer manager I can see the networked printer but when I go to select the printer driver there is nothing displayed there.  I've got gutenprint installed from AUR and have cups running.  Ideas?  Thanks for the help.

Re: Printer Drivers Missing?

can you try it with the cups network interface ?, gnome cups manager (or how it is called) can sometimes be a real pain.

Re: Printer Drivers Missing?

I suppose you have installed gutemprint from extra, as it is not in aur ;-)
It should work with gutenprint, see http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_print … lus_CX3810 . Maybe you can find more information there...
