Ingame keyboard problems

Since early November (have been traveling and stuck offline, hence the delay in posting) I've had a strange problem where holding my A and/or S keys stops my control key form working (pressed in the opposite order works fine tho). I got this problem in every game I've tested in (q3, et:qw, warsow, games in wine, etc).

If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate any help.

I had suspected it was something to do with xorg, I did search but some how missed that bug report. Will  give it a try, Thanks.

Hhhhhmmm xorg-server doesn't want to compile even without the patch I'm getting this error.
