Hi,
Does anyone know what temp is normal or better to say healthy for a cpu?
Mine is at 45-47 Celsius when idling and goes up to 85 when playing games etc.

85º C is a bit high but they are supposed to resist more than that

It depends on what kind of cpu you have. The Pentium M in my Thinkpad is around 30 - 40° when idle but routinely goes up to 70 - 80° when doing cpu intensive stuff.
When I first got it I was quiet shocked, but a search on Intel's webpage reassured me that 80° should be no problem for a Pentium M as shown here.
So if you have a Pentium M it should be ok, if not maybe look on the manufacturer's webpage for information.

Thx for the info
I´ve got a Centrino Duo so the temperature shouldn´t be a problem as judging from the information on intels site.

From my experience, it has been that if you run the cpu cores at full frequency (whatever your processor is rated for), then the temperature will max out around ~ 75C under intensive load. In most cases, if you're worried about the other problems associated with the processor getting hot, it wouldn't hurt to keep the frequency scaled to about half of whatever speedstep allows you to set the frequency as. Most of the applications/games run just fine on this setting for me.
Cheers
