Kernel support for asus laptop

Hello after i did pacman -Syu i suddenly got problems with wifi/BT switch button on my laptop(Asus F2Je),
i am using Arch64, and since i havent been able to locate any changes in configuration files, it looks to me like its something in new kernel which has been installed by pacman.
Since this kernel has ACPI_ASUS i tried building custom kernel 2.6.23.9 with ASUS_LAPTOP module instead and it didn't help.

Re: Kernel support for asus laptop

Today i downgraded using pacman -U
to kernel 2.6.22.9 and BT/Wifi switch suddenly works fine...
just not with new kernel 2.6.23.9.
So i am stuck with older kernel, problem now is that when i want to install catalyst package, it also wants new kernel...
Well can't have everything can I?
