hdd problem

hi.. i just bought a toshiba laptop (satellite u305-s7432) and when a try to format (with dban) or install arch (newest beta cd) i get the same error message about no hdd found (or something similar), can someone help with this?

btw ... it happens the same with winxp cd (toshiba oem from my other laptop)

I believe that your hard-drive should be identified as sda (or similar).  Could you please post what the exact error message is when you try to install Arch.
