Hi all,
I am currently using Ubuntu and want to try out Arch linux (might even stick with it )
I have a Lenovo 3000 C100 with the following specs:
1.5 Ghz Celeron M
768 MB RAM
40 GB HDD
Intel 915 GM Graphics
and Intel 2915ABG wireless.
When i put the core cd in the drive, it gets to the bit where it says "found intel wireless 2915 ABG" and then just freezes there. I have tried burning the iso to different disks, burning it slowly and checking the md5sum as well.
No other distro i have tried (e.g. ubuntu, sabayon, suse, mandriva and distros based off these e.g. pclos and linux mint) had any problem like this. PCBSD didn't have a problem and windows didn't either.
Can you help as I really want this please.
Thanks.

The install appears to freeze for me as well (intel 3945), but after about a minute of waiting it continues to boot normally. Give it a bit of time and see if it boots, if not the 2007.08 iso doesn't have the intel wireless detection (IIRC), and a "pacman -Syu" once installed will bring you up to the latest version.
