Hi,
I've got a fujitsu lifebook Q2010..... i want to install Arch on it.
I just want to check if the hardware is supported?
1. Processor: Intel® CoreTM Solo Processor Ultra Low Voltage U1400 (1.20 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache, 533 MHz FSB)

7. Card Slots: One Type I/II PCMCIA slot, 32-bit PC Card Bus architecture One Secure Digital (SD) card

please let me know which options are
A: supported out of box
B: supported with some tweaking
C: unsupported

Only thing I see being any problem is the the finger print reader. SD card reader may or may not work, depends on the chipset.

Hmmm.. if by function keys you mean the brightness and volume keys, then it's probably be a B. Thats what it is for my C-series and S-series lifebooks.

Installing xf86-video-intel should give you the required driver. Works great for me (although currently on ubuntu)

ipw3945 works here. There is also iwlwifi which is newer and will eventually replace ipw3945 but last I tried it, it wasn't completely stable.

I have never had any trouble with PCMCIA slots.. they just seem to work.
