question about pacman arch64 packages

When I run pacman to update my database or install a from the repo, am I getting packages for arch64? (As in compiled for x86_64 architecture)

Silly question, but it just came to me as I was browsing the repo here on the web that there was no option of toggling between i686 packages and x86_64 ones.

Re: question about pacman arch64 packages

Have a look at the filenames in /var/cache/pacman/pkg. The homepage only lists i686 packages.

Re: question about pacman arch64 packages

You could also see the CVS entries for a package and choose CURRENT-64 instead of CURRENT to see the PKGBUILD's tagged specifically for Arch64 (using the web interface)
