eclipse-ve install problem

This PKGBUILD provides the visual editor project plug-in for the eclipse platform and was recently "CVSed" into the community repo after some lack of maintenance from his original maintainer.

Though pacman installs it seamlessly the plug-in isn't working at all, the new menu items expected to show up inside eclipse (like "Create a new Java Class using the Visual Editor" for instance) are totally missing.

Has anyone made this one work?

I had the same problem. My solution was
pacman -Rc eclipse
pacman -Scc
pacman -S eclipse
pacman -S eclipse-ve
now New>Visual Class is available. I don't understand why...

I have just read that the eclipse release 3.3.1 doesn't yet have a visual editor plugin. The available plugin is made for eclipse callisto (3.2).
