This problem began rather recently, Several days ago I removed slim and started using startx to load xorg, it work very well for som time, but yesterday I began getting problems with serverauth.
Since there where some thing I needed to fix, I did a clean install of arch, again using startx to load x, and still the serverauth uses around 99% of the cpu from time to time (very often).
Anyone got any ideas?
If it helps I'm using a fully updated system with xorg and nvidia. The only things I have done the same both before and after re-installation (that I can remember) after the problems began is: building an abs tree, installing decibel from aur and installing linuxdcpp with pacman.

I'll be damned. It seemed that it was a problem with my firefox theme :S
I remembered I installed a foxdie (graphite) theme, and noticed that the problems occured when using firefox. Changed the theme and now all works fine :S
I'll keep the thread open if the problem comes back.
edit: sorry for the post
