What is a good cd burner for fluxbox?
Offline
Could try graveman or xcdroast

There is no burner "for" fluxbox. You can use any burning program with any DE or WM.
Try out graveman, brasero, gnomebaker and k3b. Then you tried all the major programs and can choose what you like best.

if you want something with minimal dependencies you could try bashburn, or even cdrecord from the cli

I agree with pressh's recommendation of bashburn.
It is an excellent piece of software.
And then it happened... a door opened to a world... rushing through the phone line like heroin through an addict's veins, an electronic pulse is sent out, a refuge from the day-to-day incompetencies is sought... a board is found.

And I agree with pressh's recommendation of cdrecord (wodim). The package name is "cdrkit".

I agree with kelnoky's recommendation of graveman. Very easy to use and really nice if you don't know jack about cd-recording like me.
It's the first one I successfully used, and I'll probably never try another.

Have always used k3b, it's flawless. Have burnt hundreds of discs with it and the interface and usage is just wonderful.

I've been using Judd's Pyburn for a while now, and I really like it. If it burned DVDs too, it would be perfect. It's on his projects page.

that would be THE perfect burning app for me too (I don't have a cd-burner, thus pyburn doesn't recognize it..)
