Problem with menu rendering in ET

I have installed enemy territory from AUR (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?d … =1&ID=2063) and now I have a strange problem with the rendering of the menu:

Whenever I move the mouse over a menu entry it turns dark (and remains in this state), which is really annoying, because the entries aren't readable anymore. Screenshot: et_dark_entries.jpg (49,16 KB)

I'm using a Nvidia GeForce 6600GT with the "nvidia 100.14.19-6 " driver, all packages are up to date. I've disabled Compositing in the xorg.conf (and tried several other configurations), but without success.
