i have installed xorg hal xterm xfce4 packages etc.
but problems come when i run
xterm
comes
xterm xt-error: can't open display: %s
xterm: DISPLAY is not set
and when i run
startx
i can turn to the ugly simple X windows, but when i ctrl+alt+bs and get back, comes
xterm: fatal IO error 11 (resources temporarily unavailable) or KillClient on X server '0:0'
and
display
unable to open X server ' '.
and if i run
startxfce4
messag comes like this

no reply, not anyone helping me? do i have really discard arch and turn to ubuntu again? i hope not.
the problem is just the improper setting of display, isnt there anybody familiar with it?

Have you actually configured your xorg.conf as per wiki?
