[request] wine 0.9.51

I don't know if this is the correct place to post this but ...

Ive been having problems with the 0.9.50 version of wine which is currently in the extra repo.
Steam doesn't seem to work, so today i quickly tested the 0.9.51 version which i made myself and everything is working fine again.

I know it has been flagged as out of date, but i just wanted to know if there are any plans to update it anytime soon?
Or if its just me with the 0.9.50 problem with steam.

If you search the forums you should be able to find instructions on how to update yourself it using abs/makepkg.

yeah i made myself a new pkg using the old pkgbuild, and its all working.
I was just wondering if there was going to be an update to the package in extra anytime soon so that there will be an official package available (the package i made was a quick and dirty one, i didnt check to see if there were any different config options etc that might need updating)

For wine you can usually just change the pkgver and make a new package. The official Arch package will be updated as soon as the maintainer has the time to do it.
