Icons?

pacman doesn't seem to be doing so well with icons.  Some are installed in /usr/share/pixmaps, some are in their own random places, and some I can't find at all (Bluefish).  One nice thing about yum (Fedora's package manager) was that it put all the icons in /usr/share/pixmaps.  What's up with this?

Re: Icons?

Not really a pacman issue. What I have found is that most of the icons get installed properly for KDE, just not for Gnome.

Re: Icons?

Forgive my lapse into being an asshole and don't take me seriously when I say... what do icons have to do with CLI? :-D

You could submit a bug report. It would be sensible to put icons in a single place, but its going to entail editing a lot of PKGBUILDs. It won't get priority at this time though. Too much other stuff to be done.

Its a good suggestion though.
