[root@myhost chris]# /etc/rc.d/mythbackend start
:: Starting MythTV Backend [BUSY] /usr/bin/mythbackend: error while loading shared libraries: libsensors.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Bug related to it:
http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/8814
So how can I tell when this will be fixed?
Can I use packages in the testing repo and see if they work?
Thanks, Chris.

Yes, I believe the mythtv in testing is patched for the new version of lmsensors.

Ok, I'm new to Arch Linux so how would I use the packages for mythtv in the testing repo?
Would I be able to use just them or would I have to use the testing packages for the rest of my applications?

You'll have to edit /etc/pacman.conf and remove the # in front of the testing repos.
Then install the packages again.
Just getting better .... All the time

Yes its running great - But since I have a "under the stairs" solution which is quite tricky instead of getting a normal Backend/frontend running on the same machine!
I'm trying to setup a radio listening plugin to my solution, but gives me some problems about the tunercard in the backend - that'll not streaming the music from the radiotuner to all the frontends - But keep on tryin.
Remember to start mtd as the user running MythTV - otherwise you won't get the rigth permission to transcode DVD etc! I discovered that problem - especially when running the under the stairs solution!
Hopefully you'll enjoy MythTV as much as I'm doing

Thanks again, MythTV is really good once you get it working, luckily I managed to get some from my family to help getting it set up correctly.
