hi everybody. i've a simple question and unfortunately no solution so far.
i've set up some profiles in /etc/network-profiles for home (wlan), work (ethernet), parents home (wlan) which works very well on boot where i can choose the network i want to connect to.
however, sometimes i know that i don't have net-access (travelling for example) and thus i don't want to try to connect to a network-profile. my question: is it possible to generate some kind of "empty" network-profile that doesn't give the bad "FAIL" on boot/shutdown?
thx in advance...

Try netcfg2, it's more intelligent than the clumsy default netcfg, and will be replacing it shortly.
