Problem when compiling KDE programs

Since the kde 3.2.3 upgrade, I cannot compile a single kde program. It always complains about the lack of /usr/lib/libGL.la. Indeed I haven't this file but rather a /usr/lib/libGL.so. Here is an example of answer I get (with the sample application template from KDevelop).

libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/libGL.la'

What can I do to correct this?

Can you use search function of the forums? Just search for libgl.la. That's all. The truth is out there....
