pacman-optimize fails integrity check

Hello,

When I run `pacman-optimize` the first three steps go well, but the last step, checking the integrity, fails and pacman-optimize reverts to the old database. This has been a problem for me for a few months already. In the meantime, pacman has gotten slower and slower and I hope that optimizing the DB will improve performance. Does anybody know what's going on here? Tnx!

I had this problem to before, but then all of a sudden it went away. roll

I don't know what to tell you about pacman-optimize. But, there is a few scripts posted on these forums that will make pacman fly. Have u checked the wiki for the link to the scripts?

pacman roulette : pacman -S $(pacman -Slq | LANG=C sort -R | head -n $((RANDOM % 10)))
