Amarok doesn't play last.fm

Hi,
I have problem with playing streams from last.fm. When I add some stream (for example neighbours) Amarok show this:

Error Loading Media
No suitable demux plugin. This often means that the file format is not supported.

and in console appears

amarok: ERROR: : couldn't create slave : Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Error loading 'amarok "%u"'.

Works here with 1.4.8. Please upgrade amarok to the newest version from the PKGBUILD (just change version nr)

Would be nice if someone update this PKG in extra... 2 weeks passed. No problem with compiling so what's the deal ? This is one of the most popular audio players and not every user know how to handle packages by himself...

This is the PKGBUILD edited by me, so be careful! I've taken off every libvisual reference because it gave me an error in compiling.

I agree, this comes up everytime there is a new amarok release, takes ages for it to be updated.

No response still We cannot put this as a bug into bugzilla because it's not a bug for devs but for us it's a bug (amarok 1.4.7 don't work properly with last.fm streams...) ehh

I too would like Arch to get on the stick and push out a new build to extra. Amarok really should not be subject to this kind of neglect. I'll be a maintainer if it'll help.

Amarok 1.4.8 seems to be in Testing repo as of Jan 8th.  I'm sure it will be pushed to extra soon.  There must be a reason it's in testing.

There's a reason - no maintainer for Amarok
