Hi guys!
I just installed boinc from the community repository and also tried to install the kboincspy with makepkg -csi as root. But the installation process halts with the following line:
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3 and < 4.0) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
I have qt-enhanced installed (so kdemod) and wonder if this might be the problem.
I'd be glad if anyone could help me there.
Thanks in advance and a good weekend to you!
Micha
Edit: it works fine with wine, but that shouldn't be the only way to let boinc run, right?

try adding
source /etc/profile.d/qt.sh
to your pkgbuild after
build() {

Looks goooooooood :)
Thanks for helping! And although I like having a nice gui (yeah, I know...) it feels better to have a system build version running in the background. Who needs fancy pictures anyway when there is a world to improve?! ;)

Edit: how can I set this topic to "solved"

You're welcome. Just edit your first post and add solved to the title.
