I'm having problems with my flash installation (which came from the normal arch repo). When I try to view any page, flash will cover most of the top. Here's a screenshot of my problem.
I have the same problem on my Ubuntu box as well, so maybe it's just a problem with the flash and NOT the particular package that I installed it with (as they are telling me ).

Nope ... it is something on the site.
If you click on the movie (the visible part on the bottom) a pop up window will show you the full movie.

No....there's no movie on this site. There are only pictures underneath the white flash thing.

yes ... there are I went there to see if the problem was in the code, then I noticed the mouse pointer changed to a hand so I decided to click and ... a pop up showed up.
I went back, clicked on one of the cars on the bottom of the page, and then in the "strip of image" on the bottom and again another pop up and flash movie depicting the car that I had clicked on the bottom. Try it.

maybe on toyota.com but (as you see in the screenshot) I'm viewing a car model (the sienna for example). http://www.toyota.com/sienna/
That is the exact site I'm having problems with. Yes there is a movie on the main toyota.com, but not on the url I just gave.
EDIT: The problem is caused by that top panel. You can hover over those buttons there and it will display those menus which are the problem causers.

Oh! Yes ... on that link there is no visible flash and the "click the movie area trick" does not work.
It was made with Flash 9 ... I wonder if that has anything to do with the problem.

I believe that it is a bug in the current version of flash. that's the only thing I can think of.

The problem is that there is a z-order problem with Flash. I don;t know if it's Flash itself, Firefox (or whatever browser) or just because it's Linux. Here is a link that may explain the problem even more: http://blog.marcoos.com/2006/07/21/html … -possible/

I've always had that problem in Linux, I just figured it was the shoddy version of Flash Adobe released for Linux
