I am currently about to switch my WM configuration to fit the new standard arch layout.

Is there any default slime, fluxbox and gtk2 theme, which includes the new logo an the remake of this colours?

Re: Logo Contest Results (and Winner!)

I'm not very used to the new design, but it's very pleasing in regards of freshness and modernity - not necessarily a big step forward (for instance the grey background of postings is a bit irritating), but nice in the very end.

Re: Logo Contest Results (and Winner!)

The color schemes of the sites are still being tweaked. Right now it's just basically a new header.

I don't know as I use xmonad, but I don't think so.

Creating them and offering them to the community may be a good idea, though.

Re: Logo Contest Results (and Winner!)

I second harlekin's comment: it really fits with the "simple, lightweight" theme. Brilliant work.

Re: Logo Contest Results (and Winner!)

The new design is stunning!

EDIT: Just that the Logo in the Header (not the original SVG version) seems to have a tiny "whole" in the left side of the arch (when view from your seat wink).

When I watch the SVG in my browser that looks much sharper.

Maybe someone can reexport without that tiny hole?

Re: Logo Contest Results (and Winner!)

In my opinion archlinux.org is the cleanest and best looking site of all the linuxdistro sites i can think of,  the new logo looks great too…  awesome job everyone involved! it would be nice with a wm theme that reflected the new colors and clean look of the site.. maybe I should have look at some theming tutorials

Is the site available to the international sites in any way? I am thinking of contacting archlinux.se and see if I can help out putting the new site up when its done…

The contest is over, etc.

For new topics, certainly feel free to start a new thread.
