How do i specify which directory to use for it and all cause i want one directory like /www to be used because thats where the web files are but then how do i get the ~username/ to be in there also... And how do i add usernames for it with passwords..

thats a good one dusty... I dont owe you anything.. I wasnt sure if that stuff applied to this or if there was maybe an already done one specific for archs directory structure etc..

As a general rule, Arch stuff is stored in the same directories as the program's developer says it would be packaged. This means you can use the program's documentation. Takes a huge load off the Arch documentor's back... luckily, since we're a combination lazy/busy group.  8)

Just a rule of thumb if you guys redo the default config file make it where it has the same directory as apache would as usually when u ftp thats why u use it.. Just a suggestion.. And i did search just wasnt sure if it was dif for arch..

Sort of. See, what I do is do some promotional searches to prove that my method works.  I wouldn't do any without payment first in most situations. smile
