Abiword can't load aspell-nl

I have installed aspell-nl (and ofcourse aspell, pacman installed that as an dependency) in order to use it with Abiword, when I try to load it from "Tools -> Set Language" I get the following error:

"Could not load the dictionary for the Dutch (Netherlands) [nl-NL] language"

According to their website Abiword should work with Aspell, but I can't find any information on how to achieve that. I can download language.hash files, but I would like to use aspell. I have no idea how to get it to work and I can't find any information about it on the Internet or in the forums.

Any help is more then welcome!

Re: Abiword can't load aspell-nl

I found it:

AbiWord supports both the GNU Aspell (previously called Pspell) and Ispell spell checkers (and also a spell-check wrapper called Enchant which in turn uses Aspell or Ispell or perhaps others). Which one is used is determined at compile-time, so if you're downloading a binary, one of these has been selected for you. GNU Aspell and Enchant are easiest to use on Unix platforms currently, so if you're not running on Unix, you're almost certainly using Ispell.
