pacman 3.1.0 orphans most of system

Hello everyone,

I just upgraded a couple of my Arch Linux systems to pacman 3.1.0, and have noticed a serious problem.

  pacman -Qe

prints out 233 of the 520 installed packages on my workstation and 159 of the 359 packages on my media box. This was not so before I upgraded to 3.1.0.

FYI, I tried filing a bug report, but when I visit the URL that Flyspray emailed me, it tried to have me re-register. If I try to re-register, it says the name is already taken (xyon). If I try to execute the "Lost Password" routine, it says that a user with my name does not exist.

Re: pacman 3.1.0 orphans most of system

In pacman 3.1 -Qe switch lists all explicitly installed packages, not orphans.  If you want to see orphans try pacman -Qdt (all packages installed as dependencies that are no longer required by other packages.
