fan speed...monitoring and seetting

Hello

As someone maybe know tongue, I have a MSI P35-NEOF mb, and I want to setup or just only view the fan speed, but I cant. My PC has a windows by one side, so I can see that the people that "ensembled" it didnt connect any fan to the sysfan port located on the MB...

Does anyone know is this is the trouble?...I run sensors_detect and It detect a lot of thing:

Probing for `SPD EEPROM'...                                 Yes
Probing for `EDID EEPROM'...                                Yes
Found `Fintek F71882FG/F71883FG Super IO Sensors'           Success!
    (address 0xa00, driver `f71882fg')
Intel Core family thermal sensor...                         Success!
    (driver `coretemp')

Thats all....

Thanks for any answers....

Re: fan speed...monitoring and seetting

For fan speed monitoring you need the 3pin connector connected to the sysfan header on the motherboard..  If the fan which you want to monitor is connected via 4pin molex directly to the power supply then it will not work.
