Here is the deal. I have my HDD's set up so that all of my program independent data (music, movies, pictures, source code to programming projects, etc) is on an external HDD. I am dual booting off my internal HDD with Mint on one partition and Windows on the other (I need it for school; I'm taking a class that teaches Visio and Microsoft Expressions). I do this so I can nuke the linux partition anytime I want and install other distro's without having to backup any data.
Now, last time I installed Arch I was at my parents house with my desktop and my old desktop. I was following the beginner's guide on the old destkop and installing Arch on my desktop. Now, I'd like to format my Mint partition and install Arch, but if I am installing Arch then obviously I can't access a browser to read directions to install Arch.
What's the solution? Does either of the Arch ISO ship with Links or other terminal based browser? What can I do to remedy this situation?

I guess he can also do a
# pacman -Syu
# pacman -S hwd gnome firefox
and wait 20 minutes and then do
# hwd -x
# adduser
# /etc/rc.d/gdm start
login and browse to the Archlinux wiki
Zl.
PS: it might be a good idea to print the beginners guide

Well i would install lynx or links and read it there.
And i wouldnt rush to install anything without reading the beginners guide.
You will learn a lot.

Install elinks or the very kick ass text browser w3m.
I'm pretty sure the beginners guide is kicking around on the ISO somewhere but it's been a long time since I've checked.
