SOLVED - Kate crashing after latest testing update

After latest update, kate doesn't start up anymore. Starting it from the console gives this error:

Session management error: Authentication Rejected, reason : None of the authentication protocols specified are supported and host-based authentication failed

pacman -S qt3 && pacman -S qt helped
