I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a distro called: "Underground Desktop". It claims to be based on ArchLinux.
My main question is, is this distro ArchLinux friendly? It seems to me like a good concept, such as the ease of use. This maybe good, in this case, for the ArchLinux community, because it may make learning ArchLinux easier and easier transition, IMO. Any thought or comments?
P.S. There is a pretty decent review I found at http://www.linux.com/articles/47023... It may be outdated, but at least more information about it.
Sorry, it appears this distro is no longer around! Any distros out there like it?

No.
To use Arch you need to have some knowledge about a linux system.

What about what Ubuntu is to Debian? Isn't Ubuntu supposed to be an easier distro, based on Debian? However, I imagine this is debatable, too. There have some people that claim it is easy and some that it is hard.

I may be wrong, but try my logic:
- The best way to learn Archlinux is using Archlinux.
Anyway, if you want to Just Use (TM), don't know Linux, or don't wanna learn, I recommend going anything else than Archlinux, as Arch tries to put the decisions on the hand of the user, instead of offering cooked solutions that work automagically.

How was this based on Arch - it claims to have been based on Debian unstable?
Anyway, I agree: if you want to use Arch, use Arch.

As far as I remember it was first based on Debian unstable and the later changed to be based on Arch Linux. Anyway, it seems like it have been discontinued.
