I'm trying to build from scratch XFCE with makeworld,
i'm in /var/abs and i'm doing
makeworld --install --builddeps -c local/myxfce/ extra/xfce4/
makeworld builds packages in alphabetical order so the first of the list is EXO, exo needs some dependencies that aren't installed on my machine so makeworld ries to build them but it fails saying that the source root is missing and that i have to specify it in makepkg.conf.
Looking in makepkg.conf i read that
#-- Source root: specify location where PKGBUILDs are located for '--builddeps'
#SRCROOT=/var/abs
I've tried with SRCROOT=/var/abs but it didn't work...
The problem is that obviously i don't have a directory where makeworld can find ALL the PKGBUILDs it needs to build xfce, i only have the abs tree and in it i have every single PKGBUILD saved in the proper directory (example: PKGBUILD for EXO is obviously in /var/abs/extra/xfce4/exo/ ).
How can i solve this problem?
It's getting quite annoying, thanks
