Cannot see pacman at all
I ran pacman -S Xorg, but then did a Ctrl+z and started links to browse for a while. I did the stupid mistake to invoke the OS shell from links. Now issuing 'fg' does not bring me back to pacman! But I know it is running, because I cannot start it. How do I revert back to it?

Well, you could kill pacman and remove the locking file manually.
