Is it normal (Half-GNOME and Samba) ?
Sorry, if my English is not very well.

if you don't use gnome you can just download the PKGBUILD for gtk-qt-engine, remove libbonoboui from the 'depends'-list and it will build without any gnome dependencies.

It doesn't solve problem with Samba.

smbclient is a dependency of gnome-vfs, which is a dependency of libgnome, which is a dependency of libbonoboui
so, if you use ABS to compile it yourself without the gnome-dependencies, smbclient won't be needed either.

ok, gtk-qt-engine depends on gnome's libs, so why?
