Within a few weeks, I'll receive my new Core 2 Duo laptop. Because it's a 64-bit CPU, I'd like to use Arch64.
I've read so far that only flash and java are real problems. For java, there is some jcg (gcj, cgj?) plugin, and for using flash, I can setup the chroot 32-bit environment.
But there are another two items I'm concerned about:
- I'll have a Nvidia Quatro NVS 135M graphics card. Will it be possible to use the Nvidia-drivers? Are those drivers already ported into the 64-bit repo's?
- I'll have the intel 4965AGN wireless card. I've seen on the wiki that I'll have to use the iwlwifi-drivers, but are they already working with arch64?

Ibex

Additional question so I can figure more things out by myself. How can I browse trough the packages that are already in the arch64 repo's? There are some packages I'd like to use (like the luks-filesystemencryption, dosbox, emelfm2, etc..), but I don't know if they are already in the arch64 repo's.
Thanks :-).

Yes, both nvidia and iwlwifi drivers are availaible on Arch64.
Check: http://dev.archlinux.org/~andyrtr/pkg_diff.html
to see which package are not available for Arch64. Pretty much all packages are available on both architecture except closed-source binary packages like flashplugin, acroread, etc.
