checkgmail deamon

Hey!Want checkgmail to start everytime on boot...I downloaded with a simple "pacman -S checkmail" command!Tried to add "@checkmail" in deamons in /etc/rc.conf but nothing happened!Any suggestions?:)

I am not certain but I don't think checkgmail is a deamon. Which is what the line in rc.conf is for. If you use Gnome you probably want to autostart it with the session manager. There is a start up section there. Otherwise check http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Startup_files

xabbott is correct. you don't start it in your daemons array. If you are using Gnome, go to System / Preferences / Sessions and add it in the startup Programs panel.
