Neverwinter nights 64

I'm just curious is it possible to install nwn (platinum) on a 64bit system? I assume it takes ia32libs but anything else?

Yes, its very possible. I played - and finished - NWN (with two extensions: Hords of Underdark and shadows of undrentide) on Arch64.  If I'm not wrong, you only need lib32-sdl. Its out of the question, but there is also a script that allow to play movies on NWN linux client. It's called nwmovies

Re: Neverwinter nights 64

it is possible, but a better experience is playing nwn in a 32bit chroot, as the custom scripts (nwmovies and nwmouse) fail to compile under non-multilib gcc. nwmouse will reduce a lot of the jerkiness experienced.

Re: Neverwinter nights 64

lib32 dont seem to allow for compilation of nwmouse in the nwn package here. please correct if you find anything different. i have mailed the upstream about this, and he says nwmouse needs to be compiled as 32bit as nwmain is 32bit.

Re: Neverwinter nights 64

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread but does anyone mind telling me how they got it to work in Arch64? I've installed all the lib32 packages and installed the AUR package. No matter what i do though I'm getting a ".nwmain: file does not exist" error which, in my experience, is characteristic of the executable being a 32 bit. How do I get nwmain to work in 64 bit?

Re: Neverwinter nights 64

What I found is that you need to cd into the nwn directory before running .nwn or you get that error.
