avidemux is newer than extra. yaourt -Syu problem [SOLVED]

avidemux needs options=(force). File a bug.

Workaround: pacman -S avidemux, then -Syu as normal.

Perfect i need to delete /usr/lib/libx264.so.57 as well, then pacman -S avidemux, and finally a pacman -Syu

pacman -Sy avidemux
pacman -Su

solved it.

What I don't understand is why the version in the repositories moved back from 2.4 final (http://fixounet.free.fr/avidemux/news.html#2007-12-23) to 2.4 preview 2.

That's a good question.

And not one that I can answer but because of having to recompile avidemux due of the recent x264 update I now know that clicking the "Show all files" button on the CVS page brings up the avidemux 2.4-2 PKGBUILD (revision 1.27) .
