Hey...Just want some programmes to start when i login after boot and i don't know how!I know only about rc.local but is there another way?

you could create an rc.d script for them, and start them like any other daemon.
or yes..you can just add them to rc.local

Just wondering, if you start all those programs with "exec", will you terminate the X session if you close any of them? That's at least what happens if I start my WM with exec, so I just do
lxpanel &
gdesklets &
audacious &
exec openbox-sessionOffline
